Miriem is an investment funds specialist with over 15 years’ experience as a senior legal and compliance professional with various global financial services firms. Miriem has held various roles including Senior Vice President and Head of the Regulatory Compliance function in a Leading European Investment Management Company and AIFM, acted as Head of Legal and Compliance at independent 3rd party fund services providers, and acting as Director and Conducting Officer (Regulatory Compliance) within top tier 3rd party management companies/AIFMs. Miriem has been approved for various roles by the CSSF in Luxembourg and her duties also included acting as the AML Compliance Officer/MLRO for the respective firms.

An active member with the Association Luxembourgeoise des Compliance Officer (ALCO) in Luxembourg, Miriem successfully completed the extensive Senior Fund Specialist qualification in association with IFBL/ALFI. Miriem also holds a BA in Business Law in France, an LLB from Lincoln University (UK) and is presently completing a Masters Degree in private equity and Islamic finance. A multilinguist, Miriem is fluent in Arabic, English and French.
